Who we are

This site is run by Daily Word Puzzle, the trading name of a sole trader registered in Portugal, who is the data controller. Contact: teamaijj+words@mail.grokbot.com. We will give the controller's full name and address to anyone using their data-protection rights, or to an authority, on request.

We do not ask for accounts or personal details, we don't use cookies, analytics, ads or trackers.

Your game progress

Your game progress (today's tries and results, and your streak: current streak, best streak and the date you last solved) is stored only on your device, in your browser's local storage, so the page remembers it. We never receive your streak. They are not sent to us except each try, which is checked by our server and not stored. You can clear all of it, including your streak, by clearing this site's data in your browser.

AI-generated content

The daily word and clue are generated with Cloudflare Workers AI. No visitor data is sent to the AI. Answers are generated by AI and may be wrong.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare Workers, which may process technical data such as IP address for security and delivery. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / UK GDPR).

Third parties and transfers

Cloudflare acts as our host and processor. Some data may be transferred outside the EEA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your message, and no longer than 12 months. Hosting logs follow Cloudflare's retention.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by emailing teamaijj+words@mail.grokbot.com. You can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt), or your local authority (UK: ICO).
